📅 Saturday 29 & Sunday 30 August 2026 ⏰ 9:00am – 9:00pm both days 📍 Blatherskite Park, Mparntwe (Alice Springs)
Children’s Ground invites you to Apmerenge-ntyele Festival — a two-day celebration of Aboriginal culture, music, dance, art, knowledge and community on Arrernte Country.
Apmerenge-ntyele brings together Elders, families, young people, Traditional Owners, dancers, musicians, artists and cultural knowledge holders from Central Australia and beyond.
At the heart of the festival is the connection between our Elders and the next generation — creating a place where culture can be shared, celebrated and carried forward.
Across two big days, experience: 🖤 Traditional dance and song 💛 Live Aboriginal music and performances ❤️ Cultural workshops and activities 🖤 Aboriginal artists, makers and stallholders 💛 Activities for children, young people and families ❤️ Food and community stalls 🖤 Cultural knowledge and storytelling 💛 Communities and cultural groups coming together from across Australia
The festival will showcase the strength and diversity of Aboriginal culture while creating a welcoming space for the whole community to come together, learn, celebrate and connect.
Everyone is welcome. Bring your family and spend the weekend with us on Arrernte Country.
📅 Saturday 29 & Sunday 30 August 📍 Blatherskite Park, Mparntwe ⏰ 9:00am – 9:00pm
