Alice Springs Town Council Winter School Holidays – Heaps to Do!
These winter school holidays, there’s plenty happening around Alice Springs to keep kids and families active, creative, and entertained! Head outdoors for daily fun with the obstacle course and arrow tag, take a dip with free entry to The Alice Springs Aquatic & Leisure Centre, or challenge your mates to a round of free mini golf at the Adventure Park.
Make sure to check out what’s on at the Alice Springs Public Library, with a huge lineup of activities happening most days throughout the break! From crafty story times and VR-fternoons to hands-on robotics sessions, there’s something for every curious mind. You’ll also find one-off special events, plus favourites like Music and Movement, LEGOLegends and more.

Are you aged 12 to 25 with a creative spark? Shoot a short film (up to five minutes) on your smart device or phone and be in it to win it! There are cash prizes across all categories, plus a major prize – a ‘once in a life time’ experience filming a real Tourism NT video clip. No experience needed – just imagination and a phone!
