Road Reseal Program

Alice Springs Town Council is committed to keeping our roads safe, smooth and well-maintained. Each year, Council delivers a Road Reseal Program to extend the life of local roads, improve driving conditions, and protect our community’s investment in vital infrastructure.

Resealing involves applying a fresh protective surface to existing roads, helping to reduce maintenance costs and minimise major repairs in the future. It also involves line marking and a signage audit. This year’s program covers a number of residential streets and key routes across the municipality and will commence from 12 September with minimal disruptions expected.
