Lost a dog or cat?

If you’ve lost your dog or cat and want to see if it’s at the shelter you can email a photo of your lost pet to animalshelter@​astc.​nt.​gov.​au with your name and contact information. A member of our Shelter Team will then contact you if the animal is at the Shelter. 

Found a dog or cat?

Call the Ranger Unit on (08) 8950 0500 to organise collection. If you wish to drop it off at the Animal Shelter, please call (08) 7902 1100 prior to arriving.

Request an ani­mal trap – to humane­ly cap­ture pests, fer­al or stray ani­mals on your prop­er­ty (con­di­tions apply), please call Council’s Ranger Unit.

Snakes – to request a snake catch­er, please call 1800 453 210.
