About the Art
The artworks you see in these murals were created from drawings made by Grade 3 and 4 students during workshops at primary schools across Alice Springs / Mparntwe.
These images were then digitally arranged into two designs with water as their central theme: one featuring the Todd River (Lhere Mparntwe) and the other, our town pool.
The designs were projected and traced onto the mural backgrounds, then painted using the same colours and styles as the original drawings, keeping the artworks as true to the students' creations as possible.
