The Traeger park mural was created with the support of Alice Springs Town Council with the input of local Indigenous traditional owners from Hidden Valley and children from the Gap Youth Centre. It is a representation of 8 different sports that are played in the Traeger Park sports precinct interwoven with specific symbols representing local bush tucker, cultural tools tied together with brightly coloured dotwork. The Mural was delivered over 10 weeks with the support of the Gap Youth Centre to engage local kids in the installation process.
