Materials: Assorted tiles were used to create the feature wall (glazed / unglazed ceramic, unglazed ceramic, quarry, porcelain, natural stone, terracotta, and two hand painted tiles)
About the Art:
The project involved collecting people's 'left-over' renovation tiles and forming these into two colour and tone coordinated feature walls, one each for the male and female change rooms. Two separate tiled feature walls in each change room create a ‘quilted’ pattern.
The male change room feature wall comprises a blue-green colour scheme and the Female change room a red-orange-yellow colour scheme.
Tiles were donated from community members of Alice Springs.
