About the Artist
Lhere Artepe Aboriginal Corporation (LAAC) funded Youth & Community mural which was a 2024 restoration and re-imagining of the original 2022 LAAC youth-arts training and employment program in partnership with Alice Springs Town Council and Red Hot Arts who supported the youth holiday programming.
The artwork depicts the three Central Arrernte estates: Irlpme, Mparntwe, and Antulye.
As a part of the restoration, additional local emblems were included such as the Euro, the Emu, and a visual tribute to the sacred River Gum tree that damaged the wall shortly after the original 2022 completion.

About the Project
It was funded by Red Hot Arts Central Australia as part of the Mparntwe Street Art Festival 2024.
This mural project was supported by Colour Relief youth and community arts, Proper Creative, Haymes Paint, Tanglewood Constructions, B&S Mitre 10.
