About the Artist
Michael (Mickey) Wallace is a Western Arrernte Artist living and creating in Mparntwe/Alice Springs. A major part of his Digital Art process is informed by tracing found and personal images of people, places, and objects that he loves. Mickey Wallace has experience in digital drawing and animation in Procreate, as well as performance. He was the recipient of the People’s Choice (print) award in Bindi’s Central Desert Digital Art Prize in 2023 and has been a part of many acclaimed performances with Incite Arts and with the stARTS with D Ensemble.
