My designs are based on the striking colour pallet that the arid Mparntwe landscape offers during it's seasonal changes, the rain bringing with it, an eruption of colour and life.
The patterned line work is a style that I have developed over the years from a passion for drawing trees and other various forms in nature. The foliated shapes very easily lending themselves to those of rock or shadow, fluid and ever changing, alive.
Country is alive, This painting is alive!
If you sit long enough, you will begin to see it breathe.
About the Project
This mural was painted as part of the Revitalise Alice project, facilitated by Red Hot Arts Central Australia and funded by the Northern Territory Government.
