About the Art
Mulla Mulla Art’s Keioni Lander, a proud Arrernte, Kaytetye, Anmatyerre and Warlpiri woman, draws deep artistic inspiration from Country, family, community, nature and spiritual connection.
Her commissioned work, Bright Country 2 and Untitled Artwork 2, for the revitalised town centre celebrates the beauty and spirit of Central Australia through vibrant, meaningful design. These designs will be featured in the Alice Springs Cultural Trail Information Board’s Top and Bottom Artwork, Todd Mall Signage, Water Meter and Condenser Steel Cut Art and Leichhardt Terrace’s Basketball Court Shade Sail
These designs utilise traditional ochre colouring that are bright and eye-catching whilst remaining neutral and reflective of Mparntwe / Alice Springs.
