About the Art
These three commissioned pieces were inspired to brighten and bring colour to Anglicare Community Housing buildings. They showcase profiles of Sulphur Crested and Major Mitchell's Cockatoos among multiple flowers, including desert peas, bottle brushes and desert roses.
The use of multiple colours and bold black outline brings the murals to life as a comic image, thoroughly enjoyed particularly by the children who live at the community housing.
The works are on Anglicare's buildings at 10 Bath St, 103 Bloomfield St and 105 Bloomfield St.
