About the Art
This bright and captivating aerosol artwork was inspired by the young, local artists appreciation for both native florals and pop art. The bold colours are accentuated by the black outline, making the flowers demand your attention in the space. The flowers of the artwork include Desert Peas, Bottle Brushes, Desert Roses, Proteas, Billy Buttons and Eucalyptus, which are usually featured in the artist's smaller canvas work.
About the Project
The large-scale roller shutter work was completed as a part of the Revitalise Alice Project 2020, initiated by Red Hot Arts, and looks at creating a more colourful and artistic ambiance in the small town's CBD, primarily on local business' roller shutters and windows.
The project was funded by the Northern Territory Government and facilitated by Red Hot Arts.
