Councillor Aia Newport is serving their first term on the Alice Springs Town Council, bringing energy, creativity, and a strong commitment to supporting young people and the arts. They have worked across a range of community-focused roles, including as a youth worker and food nutrition officer with Tangentyere Council Aboriginal Corporation, and as an early childcare assistant at Alice Springs Steiner School.
