Sally O’Callaghan joined Alice Springs Town Council as Director of Infrastructure Services in 2026, bringing more than 20 years’ experience across the property and infrastructure sector and holds a Bachelor of Property.
An Alice Springs local, Sally has spent two decades working in property and infrastructure management, including 10 years in senior leadership roles with the Northern Territory Government. Most recently, she served as Regional Director Barkly with the NT Department of Infrastructure and Logistics, overseeing the delivery of infrastructure programs for roads, buildings, housing and community facilities across the region.
Sally has led the delivery of complex capital works, managed diverse teams and contracts, and worked closely with communities to ensure projects meet local needs. Sally is known for her practical, collaborative leadership style and her commitment to achieving positive outcomes
