Kerbside rubbish collection scheduled for Good Friday (3 April 2026) will instead occur on Thursday 2 April 2026 due to the landfill being closed for the public holiday.

Council is delivering the ‘Regenerating the Alice Town Centre’ project, which aims to engage with the Alice Springs Community to reinvigorate our CBD.
The Regenerating the Alice Town Centre project has hit a new milestone, with initial concept designs now open for public comment.
Following your feedback, we’ve developed 50% design development for Todd Mall, Todd Street, a Community Space, Hartley Street carpark and Leichhardt Terrace. These designs have been completed and now we’re looking for your feedback.
