The Oppor­tu­ni­ty

We seek an ener­getic casu­al Labour­er / Mow­er Oper­a­tor to work as part of a team, under­tak­ing labour­ing and gen­er­al mow­ing duties relat­ed to areas of clean­ing and lit­ter removal and a range of hor­ti­cul­tur­al activ­i­ties, par­tic­u­lar­ly oval mow­ing, turf main­te­nance, spray­ing, and slashing.

Your respon­si­bil­i­ties will include car­ry­ing out a range of gen­er­al labour­ing and mow­ing duties and under­tak­ing a range of hor­ti­cul­tur­al activ­i­ties par­tic­u­lar­ly mow­ing, whip­per snip­ping, spray­ing, slash­ing, top­dress­ing, scar­i­fy­ing, fer­til­iz­ing and aer­at­ing turfed areas and iden­ti­fy­ing, remov­ing and erad­i­cat­ing weeds, pests and dis­eases through the use of pes­ti­cides and herbicides.

• Attrac­tive salary Lev­el ME1.1 which equates to $40.22 / hour incl. casu­al load­ing pro rata, plus a dis­trict allowance of $1,498 non-depen­dent or $2,611 depen­dent rate.
