Mr Catchlove has been in his current role as General Manager of the Central Australian Tourism Industry Association (CATIA) for seven years, and has been a resident in Alice Springs for 24 years giving him a thorough understanding of the community.

“Craig is certain to be an asset to the organisation, and the Alice Springs community, as Director of Corporate and Community Services. He brings to Council a mix of upper level management, public relations, events, tourism and economic development skills,” said Council Chief Executive Officer Rex Mooney.

“He has held various key positions in Tourism NT, and has strong management experience and has an established professional network in Alice Springs and across the Territory,” said Mr Mooney.

Mr Catchlove is looking forward to bringing his skills and local knowledge to the position, as well as working closely with the community and the Alice Springs Town Council.

“I am very excited by the opportunities presented in taking on this position. The Alice Springs Town Council plays a pivotal role in the health and ongoing development of our town,” Mr Catchlove said

“I am confident I will be able to contribute and value-add to the organisation professionally. My role at CATIA has involved me, at many levels, with the development of Alice Springs and the region and I look forward to applying this knowledge and experience to my new role as Director of Corporate and Community Services,” said Mr Catchlove.
