Council is seeking a motivated and suitably skilled person to provide administrative support to the Director Technical Services
Salary:
Level 2 (Municipal Officer)
$41,955- $45,388 and other allowances in accordance with Council’s Workplace Partnership Agreement

Provide administrative support to the Director Technical Services
• Coordination of meetings including the setting up of meeting rooms, distribution of agendas and minutes, contacting participants for Aquatic Facility project
• Taking of minutes at meetings
• File maintenance and record keeping
• Receiving/distributing and faxing of documents
• Undertaking routine correspondence including drafting official letters
• Formatting reports
• Ensuring resource needs are available, e.g. stationery items
• Photocopying and distribution of documents
• Relief work for Executive Assistant Technical Services
• General support for the Director

Tertiary business qualifications: Desirable
1. Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and other Microsoft software applications
2. Working knowledge of Council Policies and procedures relevant to the area
3. Good writtien and verbal communication skills, in particular providing information and the recording of minutes and the relating of messages
4. Organisational skills, including time management and prioritisation
5. Ability to resolve initial customer enquiries
6. Ability to demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills and work ethics, including motivation, enthusiasm, commitment, strong commitment to customer service
7.Willingness to contribute to a team approach to customer service
