Disability Information & Access
Alice Springs Town Council will strive to meet access needs in terms of public infrastructure, transport, information, communication and attitudes irrespective of socioeconomic status, culture, gender, language or physical or mental ability of the members of the community.

The Alice Springs Mayoral Awards are celebrated in line with the International Day of People with a Disability (IDPwD) to highlight the contributions made by individuals with disability and by individuals for disability communities.
The aim of the Alice Springs Mayoral Awards is to highlight, acknowledge and give thanks to the people in the community who ‘make a difference’ – demonstrated either in their own lives or through their actions and commitment to others.
