Membership of the Library is free to all permanent residents of Alice Springs. Proof of local residential address is required when joining the library. Acceptable proofs of address are:
People living outside the Council area may become Country Borrowers.
For temporary residents of Alice Springs who wish to borrow from the catalogued collection, a fee of $50 applies.
Schools: The Principal must sign an indemnity form.
Other institutions: The responsible person for that institution must sign an indemnity form.
Replacement cards can be supplied for a fee.
