Please be advised that the indoor 25 metre lap pool is now open. The outdoor 50 metre pool will remain open for the duration of winter.

The Alice Springs Aquatic & Leisure Centre is a state-of-the-art facility with many exciting features:

  • Outdoor 50 metre swimming lap pool.
  • Outdoor toddler pool.
  • Outdoor learn to swim pool.
  • Indoor 8 lane, 25 metre heated swimming lap pool
  • Indoor 20 metre pool with beach entry, disabled ramp access, indoor spa, lazy river and a 4 lane learn-to-swim section.
  • Two fun water slides – a single loop and a double loop.
  • Hoist and wet chair pool access for indoor pools.
  • Shaded grassed areas.
  • Free BBQ’s.
  • Kiosk/café reception, spectator seating, administration, and amenities.

We offer year round learn to swim programs for infants through to adults, and aqua fitness programs. Our health and wellness centre hosts programs to enhance health and wellbeing, as well as prevent chronic illness.

A range of goggles, swimwear and other merchandise is available for purchase at the Alice Springs Aquatic & Leisure Centre.

The 50m Outdoor Pool and 25m Indoor Pool can be hired outside of business hours. Please contact us for more information and costs.

Water slide opening times: Monday to Friday: 3:00pm - 6:00pm; Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays: 9:00am - 6:00pm. Access to water slides is included as a part of entry fees.
