The Alice Springs Swimming Centre is owned by the Alice Springs Town Council and managed by the YMCA. It is conveniently located close to the CBD and other major sporting facilities. The Swimming Centre is open from September to April. The complex is set in 3.1 hectares of landscaped parklands and offers three heated pools; a full size Olympic swimming pool, a learner’s pool, and a wading pool.
The Centre facilities are water polo, aqua-aerobics, a basketball mini court, free BBQs and extensive shade structures. Clubs based at the pool are: canoe polo, Aussi masters swimming club, triathalon club, centre swim and Alice Springs swimming club.
After hours bookings are available and the centre can be hired for functions.

Monday to Friday 6 am - 7pm
Saturday & Sunday 10am - 7pm
Public Holidays 10am - 7pm
In September and April the pool opening hours may be reduced on cold days.
The pool is closed Christmas Day and Good Friday. Please check for further closures during this period.
