The Alice Springs Town Council provides and maintains various sporting ovals and facilities within the township.

Grants from the NT Government have enabled the Council to develop high-class facilities for almost every sport. Council is committed to maintaining these facilities to the highest possible standard.

Council facilities are also available for public hire. Charges help to cover the cost of maintaining community facilities, and full details on current rates for hire can be found by calling (08) 89500500.

Albrecht Oval, Larapinta Drive Uses: School activities, cricket, public recreation activities, football, training
Features: fenced, turf wicket, public hall (Bill Waudby Pavilion).

Anzac Oval, Wills Terrace
Uses: rugby league, rugby union, schools, major events
Features: lights, toilets, change rooms, canteen, office, fitness trail

Flynn Park, Flynn Drive
Uses: school activities, touch football, cricket, training
Features: lights, concrete wicket, toilets.

Jim McConville Oval, Memorial Avenue (also known as Larapinta Oval)
Uses: softball, junior baseball, slo-pitch, cricket, football, school activities, training
Features: concrete wicket, toilets, cricket practice nets, softball diamonds.

Rhonda Diano Oval, Head Street
Uses: Athletics, Cricket, Schools
Features: concrete wicket, toilets.

Ross Park, Undoolya Road
Uses: netball, school activities, soccer, training,
Features: toilets, netball club rooms, lit netball courts, rubberised cricket wicket, cricket practice nets.

Sadadeen College Oval, Stott Terrace
Uses: kite flying, training, schools, football, cricket
Features: cricket practice nets, concrete wicket.

Traeger Park, Gap Road
Contains several facilities, including:
Main oval (off of Gap Road)
