community Community Grants
The Alice Springs Town Council currently offers four types of community grants. The Community Development and Community Assistance grants are open twice a year in February and August. The Araluen Access grants are open once a year and the Computer and Equipment program is dependant on availability. Worth noting that a number of opportunities will be provided throughout 2008 for the Computer and Equipment program.
Araluen Access Grants
These grants are not currently open for applications.
The Araluen Community Access Grants have been established to encourage and support local community initiatives, that require access to the Araluen Arts Centre and Circus lawns.
Community Assistance Grant
These grants are currently open, closing 5pm 15 September 2008
Community Assistance Grants are intended to support local projects which demonstrate broad-based benefit to residents of Alice Springs.
Community Computers Program
These grants are not currently open for applications.
Alice Springs Town Council has a program where surplus or superceded computing equipment is donated to community organisations.
Community Development Grants
These grants are currently open, closing 5pm 15 September 2008
The Alice Springs Town Council has allocated funds through the Community Development Grants to encourage and support the Community Development of Alice Springs.
