Pets on Parade

The Council Rangers annually host the Pets on Parade event to promote responsible pet ownership to the local community.

The parade attracts a lot of attention – and love – with proud pet owners getting out and having a bit of fun with their furry - and scaly - family members.

This year there have been a few changes to the event due to the Todd Mall markets being on at the same time.

The parade will commence on the Leichhardt Terrace riverside walkway and make its way down the pathway to Gregory Terrace.

Participants will cross Leichhardt Terrace at the control point and then up Gregory Terrace to Todd Street, turning left onto Todd Street the parade will conclude on the Civic Centre lawns.

Those who want to participate in the parade and have a larger pet need to gather opposite the Todd Tavern and participants with smaller pets gather at the water tank opposite the YHA.

All participants need to be in place by 8.45am. Parade will commence at 09.00am.

So bring your pampered pooches and fancy felines to this year’s event!
