The Alice Springs Night Markets have been devised to give visitors a safe and enjoyable outback experience where the many assorted and novel stalls can be explored.
Shop till you drop for authentic Indigenous art and craftworks, recycled treasures, books, photos, handmade clothing and jewellery. You’ll be surprised at what you will find.
Eat till your hearts content with a tasty treat from one of the enticing multi cultural food vendors.
Chill out, catch up with friends and watch the world go by on the Church Lawns with a heavenly local roasted coffee, freshly made donut, refreshing fruit sorbet, delectable cupcake or just hang out under the Sails and listen to the riveting, intoxicating, electric, rousing grooves of diverse Alice Springs talent.
The first of the night markets for 2009 will be showcasing the new music trivia game ‘SPITS & SPATS’ brought to you by Slowcoach Entertainment. A hilarious version of the TV show ‘SPICKS & SPECKS’ this is a quiz show with a difference, encouraging fun, frivolity and audience participation.
There will also be a performance by Asante Sana - Alice's own community based choir
