your council Report Graffiti, then Wipe it Out!

Council's graffiti page aims to assist the community in reporting and removing graffiti in Alice Springs.

Council provides a hotline where graffiti can be reported 24 hours a day, currently 08 8950 0554.

Council, the Northern Territory Police, and the Northern Territory Government are all committed to managing graffiti in Alice Springs, and are working in cooperation to keep our town beautiful. We all work together to ensure a 24-hour turnaround to clean-up any graffiti on our own properties, and encourage you to do the same.

The faster you remove graffiti from your own property, the better - research shows offenders are discouraged when their handiwork is covered up quickly.

If your property is vandalised with offensive or vulgar graffiti, Council can provide a spot clean-up service to remove the only offensive words, if required.

It remains the responsibility of the owners of the property to repaint the affected area back to its original condition.

If your property has been graffitied, please take a photo and submit it via the online form below. All photographs and graffiti information are passed on to police on a daily basis (weekdays).

Please use this form to report graffiti or vandalism.

Council will review all reports and pass on information to the appropriate authorities/people.

Report graffiti and you could be eligible for a reward of up to $1500 if it leads to a conviction.

PLEASE NOTE: Legal action will be taken toward any person/s reported or photographed in the act of vandalising or producing graffiti to public property.

Report it, then wipe it out!

Council is calling on the Alice Springs community to join us, remove graffiti as quickly as possible, and help us maintain a safe and beautiful town!
