Expressions of Interest - Public Art Coordinator

EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST are now invited for the position of Public Art Coordinator for the Public Art Concept at the new Alice Springs Aquatic and Leisure Centre.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The successful applicant will join the ASALC project team. Their responsibilities will include the adoption of the Public Art Concept, timelines and schedules for the artists involved, community engagement projects, administering a capital budget of $260K, and liaising with builders, architects, Council officers and the Public Art Advisory Committee.

The building works for ASALC are programmed to start in March 2009 and finish in February 2010.

Salary: $30,000 for length of contract
