The Town Council’s Alice Springs Swimming Centre, managed by the YMCA, is open from September to April.

The complex is set in 3.1 hectares of landscaped parklands and offers three heated pools; a full size Olympic swimming pool, a learner’s pool, and a wading pool.

The Centre also has “learn to swim” classes, aqua-aerobics, organised aquatic sports, beach volleyball courts, a basketball mini court, BBQs and extensive shade structures.

After hours bookings are available and the centre can be hired for functions.

In September and April the pool opening hours may be reduced on cold days. The Alice Springs Town Council has extended summer trading hours until 8pm nightly from December through mid February.

Concession ticket books are available and the Centre also offers generous club and group discounts.
