Alice Springs Town Council Christmas Carnival

Turn your festive season up a notch with The Alice Springs Town Council Christmas Carnival.

A free family friendly community event jam packed with activities, market stalls and live entertainment

Enjoy the eclectic mix of buskers, magicians, balloon twisters and circus performers roving the mall. Keep an eye out for special guest appearances and other surprises that pop up along the way.

Catch the sounds of Alice's local musicians whilst you shop amongst the exciting and numerous market stalls offering a variety of arts and crafts, fresh produce, plants, clothes, books, jewellery and global foods that will give that enhanced shopping experience for the last minute Christmas shopper. There is something to suit every taste and every budget!
For the kids the Universal Solar Garden is always a hive of zany activity with activities to keep them entertained for hours. Look out for the Notnaughty Gnomes, Fantastico Faeries, Funtastic Face Painters, Pavement Art, Wackyhairdo and more. A great way for the kids to spend some time away from mum and dad!

Join us in celebrating the festive season in a colourful carnival atmosphere in the transformed Todd Mall with an evening that captivates, enthralls and entices the Alice Springs community to participate in this Christmas extravaganza.

Think godliness and hearken the sweet voices from the Areyonga Women's Gospel Choir

Experience raw reggae, country rock, traditional chants and gather inspiration from the Utju Band

Trip the light fantastic with rocky, reggae, dance moves and grooves from Dr. Strangeways

Transcend yourself to Cuba and gyrate your body to the smooth Latin rhythms of Los Bandoleros Perdidos.

Tantilise your ear drums with sounds of Christmas from our local Town Band
