Ordinary Council and Committee meetings and recordings

The public and media are all invited to attend Ordinary Council and Committee meetings. To view meeting dates, minutes, agendas and reports visit our Council Meetings page.

Council now offers sound recordings of each Council and Committee meeting. The recordings are available for download from the Council Meetings pages for a one to two month period after each meeting.

Spokespeople

All interviews and spokespeople can be arranged by contacting the Media and Communication Team.

The CEO is the preferred spokesperson of Council as an organisation, however other spokespeople may be put forward, depending on the topic.

The Mayor of Alice Springs is the preferred spokesperson for Council as a governing body, but the Deputy Mayor and Aldermen can also be contacted individually. Council's Elected Members page provides you with a brief bio of all elected members, as well as their contact details.
