The Alice Springs Town Council Christmas Carnival.

What better way to excite your senses by attending the Alice Springs Town Council Christmas Carnival? A free family friendly community event jam packed with activities, market stalls and live entertainment

Enjoy the eclectic mix of buskers, balloon twisters, roving performers and other surprises that pop up along the way.

Catch the sounds of Alice's local musicians whilst you shop amongst the exciting and numerous market stalls offering a variety of arts and crafts, fresh produce, plants, clothes, books, jewellery and global foods that will give that enhanced shopping experience for the last minute Christmas shopper. There is something to suit every taste and every budget!

For the kids, the Secret Solar Garden is always a hive of zany activity where only FUN is allowed on this special day dedicated to little feet that want to PLAY. Fairy hairdressers, magic face painters, hula hoops and more.

On the main stage under the sails there is plenty of local musical talent.

Stroll through the mall to the Council Lawns with entertainment, kids' activities and a chance for your child to get involved in and win the opportunity to 'Switch on the Christmas Lights'.  Bring your kids and yourselves to the Council Lawns and watch the tree light up.

Join us in celebrating the festive season in a colourful carnival atmosphere in the transformed Todd Mall & Council Lawns.

Please be advised that there will be road closures between Gregory Terrace and Todd Street intersection during the Carnival. Preferred car parking is at the Council car park and along Leichhardt Terrace.
